Forsinain Steading is an in complete property with one half being totally finished and the other half just requiring the fixtures and fittings added. CONVERSION OF THE STEADING
The conversion of Forsinain Steading has been a 10 year labour of love and has been carried out to exacting craftsmanship. The roof has been re-slated, the exposed stone walls repointed, original beams and doors cleaned and restored,
The dining hall is double height with a mezzanine area and walkway around. The room has exposed stone walls and Caithness flagstone floor. There are original features such as exposed beams and slit windows.
The kitchen has 4 large windows and faces east. The room has a expanse of fitted base units in red and has integrated dishwasher. The island unit has under counter fridges and a breakfast area for sitting at whilst socialising and creating meals. The other half of the kitchen is presently used as a dining area and a TV area. There are French doors leading out to the courtyard.
This amazing room is in the middle of the property and between the east wing and west wing, there are 3 large windows that are south facing onto the courtyard. The room has Caithness flagstones all of which are reclaimed from the old steading and still have the markings. There is a modern log burner and bespoke log store with wood shelf above. The high ceilings and open room has areas that will look amazing with the right furniture. There are stairs leading up to the library.

This room has been designed with a library in mind and seating on the mezzanine which overlooks the main hall.
